Chesapeake Brass Authority is a Maryland-based brass quintet known for polished musicianship, engaging performances, and remarkable versatility. Founded in 2018, CBA performs everything from classical and Renaissance works to jazz, film music, holiday favorites, and pop arrangements. Based near Rockville, Maryland, the group performs throughout the greater Washington, D.C./Baltimore region for concerts, festivals, community events, churches, schools, weddings, and private functions.

Carroll Baldwin Hall was delighted to host the Chesapeake Brass Authority as part of the Columbia Bands, Inc.'s Small Ensembles Performance here in October 2022. Chesapeake Brass Authority's members gave a beautiful, professional performance, sparkling with humor and talent. We'd love to welcome them back to our stage again in the future.

The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd is excited to present the Chesapeake Brass Authority to perform for the 2026 - 2027 season of The Arts In Harmony at Olney Good Shepherd concert series.

Doors will open at 6:30PM. Drinks and refreshments will be available for purchase before the concert and during Intermission.

Our mission is to promote and showcase local artists in an open and inviting space conducive for the uninterrupted listening and enjoyment of live music at an affordable price.
