Aggie Brown III, aka “Trey Love” is a Baltimore-born, Severna Park–raised drummer, organist, vocalist, producer and bandleader whose music flows from the deep traditions of gospel and jazz while embracing contemporary pop, classic rock, and improvisation. Rooted in faith and humble beginnings, Aggie’s work centers on creating music that draws people closer to God while cultivating joy, connection, and safe spaces where genuine community can be formed.
Aggie’s musical journey began at just two years old, playing on pots and pans in his mother’s and grandmother’s homes. He later studied under many respected drummers and musicians throughout the Baltimore area while serving faithfully in his father’s church, First St. Stephens Baptist Church. His formal training continued through the Peabody Preparatory Program in middle school, followed by the Severna Park High School Band Program, where he was accepted into the Music Honor Society.
After high school, Aggie performed and recorded with Del Florida and Michael DeMaio and toured with the international star SALIO from Tbilisi, Georgia, gaining invaluable experience on the global stage. With his trio, agmité, Aggie has also opened for acclaimed artists such as Tracy Hamlin and the Eric Byrd Trio.
Following these milestones, Aggie returned to Baltimore for a season of reflection and growth, further honing his craft and deepening his purpose as both an artist and a father to his two sons. During this time, he performed with many Baltimore artists, including Clarence Ward III, Justin Taylor, Cam Sounds, and many others, building a reputation as an expressive and versatile musician.
Today, Aggie is a dynamic multi-instrumentalist blending gospel passion with jazz language and contemporary influence. He now stands alongside a powerful collective of musicians who share the same vision and calling:
To Create Music That The Audience Hears God Before ever seeing the musician.
Each performance is designed as a safe and joyful space where people can experience freedom, fun, and the renewing power of the joy of the Lord.
This evening marks the Baltimore debut of Trey Love and Aggie Brown III's first official single release "Love is.."
