Hats Off to Liza - The Liza Minnelli Show-stopping Songbook, is a musical celebration honoring and commemorating one of the world’s most outstanding performers of all time.
Liza is an EGOT winner... she has won an Oscar, 4 Tonys, an Emmy, a Grammy, and a Golden Globe Globe. Liza is the daughter of the great Judy Garland and Oscar winning director, Vincent Minnelli.
The show recreates some of Minnelli’s most memorable song and dance numbers from her long and illustrious career and focuses on her record breaking performances from the stage and from the screen.The cast will be performing some of the best of Liza’s show-stopping numbers from The Winter Garden Theatre, The Lyceum Theatre, Carnegie Hall, The Palace Theatre, Radio City Music Hall, The Majestic Theatre and more. We will also be recreating your favorite numbers from Cabaret as well as Liza’s New York Medley from her first performance at Carnegie Hall back in 1979. If this isn’t enough for you we will also be tapping across the stage of the wonderful Triad Theatre to Stepping Out.
