Stephen Harvey, sax
Mike Graham, bass
Jordon Stanley, drums
Join the award winning composer and saxophonist, Stephen Philip Harvey and his trio SPH+2 as they celebrate their second album release, Golden Hour. Joined by Mike Graham on bass and Jordon Stanley on drums, the trio will play a mixture of original compositions composed during their residency at the Golden Hour Rum Room in Saint Michaels, MD and music from their Library Card and Residence suites.
Golden Hour marks Harvey's ninth overall release, coming out August 21, 2026. This album follows Harvey's recent large ensemble release, Multiversal: Live at Bop Stop, marking another foray into the bandleader's exploration of music.
Harvey works as a bandleader whose genre-blurring music fuses jazz with cinematic storytelling and contemporary Black American music. He leads multiple ensembles including his jazz orchestra (SPHJO), octet (SPH8), electronic quintet (Sphinx) and cordless trio (SPH+2). His releases have been performed internationally and featured in magazines such as DownBeat Magazine and Jazz’n’more.
