For nearly 20 years Brandon Meeks has been a vibrant part of Indianapolis' soulful and eclectic music scene. As a bass player he's created countless compelling live music experiences with every artist in the city's jazz scene as well with many national artists.
Meeks has had the good fortune of working with noteworthy creative minds such as Don Cheadle, Robert Glasper, Black Milk and Thundercat. Currently Brandon has teamed up with a new collective of exciting regional musicians from Indy, Chicago, Louisville and Cincinnati to explore musical ideas inspired by modern jazz and hip hop visionaries like Christian McBride, Roy Hargrove and Madlib.
The group combines the style of classic straight ahead jazz with a 21st century streetwise aesthetic and is guaranteed to uplift, inspire and entertain all who experience the music.
