 Pianist Dongfeng Liu has twice been invited by Wynton Marsalis to showcase at Jazz at Lincoln Center, opening the 35th Season and launching the Lunar New Year in 2026. His recently released album with Cuban icon Gonzalo Rubalcaba has received wide acclaim and established Dongfeng firmly in the Latin Jazz universe.  He appears in festivals both as performer and adjudicator, throughout Asia and the U.S.  The Beijing native is the first Chinese jazz artist to be featured in Downbeat Magazine.  His blend of Chinese traditional music with jazz and Latin jazz put him in a class by himself.
