Baby Blue Sound Collective returns to Blues Alley for their third performance, benefitting Music Therapy at Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C. Founded in 2008, Baby Blue Sound Collective (BBSC) is an international musician-physician led ensemble that performs and records for pediatric cardiac charities. BBSC currently features 18 musicians from USA, Australia, and Europe. The lineup includes cardiologists, heart surgeons, intensive care specialists, nurses, and therapists. BBSC members are united by a love of music and a commitment to helping children with heart disease (and the organizations that support them). Over the years, BBSC has appeared in cities across the USA, as well as in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. The BBSC musical repertoire is super-eclectic, and includes jazz, R & B, pop, rock, funk, blues, and many original compositions. The 2026 Blues Alley show will feature 5 vocalists and a full horn section. BBSC is known as a high-energy performing group with the heart of a mission-driven community, playing music with purpose. This event promises to continue that theme!
Join us for an unforgettable evening at one of the world's iconic jazz clubs, as Baby Blue Sound Collective returns to Blues Alley for a celebration of music, medicine, friendship, and hope - all in support of Music Therapy at Children’s National Hospital.
