Jazz pianist Tardo Hammer has been an in demand accompanist and soloist on the New York scene since the 1980's. He gained valuable experience working alongside jazz masters such as instrumentalists Art Farmer, Junior Cook, Bill Hardman, Lionel Hampton, Lou Donaldson and vocalists Annie Ross, Earl Coleman, David Allyn, Chris Connor and Abbey Lincoln. He has performed at concerts, clubs and festivals throughout the US, Japan and Europe. Included in his extensive recording career are 6 highly acclaimed trio CDs as a leader; the most recent, Swinging on a Star, was released in July 2017.  He has been teaching jazz piano and improvisation for over 30 years.

Bassist Lee Hudson grew up on Long Island. He began playing bass at age 18, soon playing with Billy Mitchell, Dave Burns and other area musicians. He studied with jazz bassist Reggie Workman and Walter Botti of the New York Philharmonic. Lee then began playing and touring with many musicians including Junior Cook, Bill Hardman, Lou Donaldson, Illinois Jacques, Arthur Prysock, and Charles Davis. Lee has performed all over the world, playing many major festivals and venues and has performed on dozens of albums. He lives in Brooklyn and continues to record and perform globally.

Steve Williams earned his credentials by accompanying one of the greatest jazz pianists and singers, Shirley Horn, for 25 years. With her he performed twice at Carnegie Hall and is on two Grammy Award winning records. His musical relationship with the pianist and singer has given him the opportunity to play all over the world and to record with musicians such as Toots Thielemans, Branford Marsalis and Wynton Marsalis, Carmen McRae, Roy Hargrove and Miles Davis.

He grew up in Washington, D.C., and studied at the University of Miami, where he joined Monty Alexander's band with whom he performed internationally. He continued his musical training with Billy Hart in New York in the late 1970s. Back in Washington, he plays on the local scene with Clifford Jordan, Milt Jackson, Freddie Hubbard, Woodie Shaw, Joe Williams, Gary Bartz, Eddie Henderson, John Hicks, Larry Willis, Mulgrew Miller and others. He joined Gary Thomas' band, with whom he recorded one of his first compositions, "Pads".

After his long collaboration with Shirley Horn, which ended with her death, Steve Williams moved to New York in 2006 and taught at Michael Carvin's School of Drumming. He performed with the Slagle/Stryker Band, Paul Bollenbach, Roni Ben Hur, Larry Willis, the John Hicks Legacy Band, Bill Saxton, Bob Mover, Sara Lazarus, Ben Vereen and others. He started touring with the Joe Lovano Nonet in October 2007. He regularly performs with Eddie Henderson. His career crosses again that of Carmen Lundy from 2008. At the same time he continues his musical itinerary within his quintet, hard bop which makes discover the original compositions of the group. He is on more than 50 records.
