Originating in the fall of 96, the band has emerged as being a multi-dimensional unit playing various styles and genres of music ranging from funk, jazz, soul, r&b, reggae, house, Afro-beat, rock, and hip-hop.
Blackberry Jam consist of founding member/ bassist/music songwriter/producer Ronald “Poncho” Hedrick as well as key members Sean “Solar P” Hedrick (percussion, background vocals, producer), and main lead vocalist contributions by Aquilah Hedrick.
Along with the nucleus, Blackberry Jam has the fortune of working with a host of multi-talented vocalist and musicians. BBJ’s commitment is to connect with the masses by sharing the love and passion for the music in various forms whether it be through their original work, performing covers, or live band tribute shows.
