City Lights Jazz
City Lights Jazz is a group of musicians that has been performing around central North Carolina for the past eight years. They are known for their eclectic repertoire. From McCoy Tyner to Chick Corea, Tom Jobim to Ivan Lins, Michel Legrand to Rogers and Hart, and Sting to Stevie Wonder, City Lights Jazz presents classic tunes and lesser-known gems from around the world, all filtered through a jazz lens. Vocalist Meghan Causey sings in English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Spanish, and the band covers arrangements performed by Dinah Washington, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and The Stylistics, among others.
