Why do you love hearing music live in an intimate venue? Because, whether you're aware of it or not you become a part of the creative energy in the room. Your attention is acting as an active collaborator in the music making. And the intensity of experience is amplified when the performance is being recorded live; the collaboration documented for posterity. For the audience's part, it's more than the claps that make it on the record: like Freddie Green's 'wood chopping' during a swinging shout chorus, or Kenny Clarke's feathered kick drum, the audience's energy is felt if not heard and the feeling is electric. 3. Seating first come at the door. Doors open 6 PM & 8:45 PM respectively Monday thru Saturday, and 4:30 PM & 7:15 PM Sundays.
