Her vocal talent and pure passion for music were deepened and refined while serving In the US Army. Then, Coniece accepted various invitations and opportunities to perform in night clubs and venues throughout the United States and Europe. Coniece composed the holiday song, “Snow Covered Stars”, and she self-produced her  CD, Shades of Shirley Horn, released March 17, 2019, and debuted on both the Roots Music Report’s Top 30 and Top 50 Jazz Album Charts and the North American College & Community Chart.
