I hope you can join me for More Love — a show that celebrates love in all its forms. While billed as a Valentine’s Day celebration, this evening also takes a look inward at the journey to loving ourselves. Expect music from Marvin Gaye, Sara Bareilles, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, and of course, some original songs woven throughout the night.

Kevin Rose is a Washington, DC–based vocalist, songwriter, and voice teacher who has performed alongside Patti LaBelle, Michelle Williams, Dionne Warwick, Leslie Jordan, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Norm Lewis, Morgan James, Rayshun Lamarr, and Nova Payton.

In 2025, Kevin released his debut EP Only Borrowed, hailed as “an essential listen; a shimmering debut that proves sometimes the most powerful stories are the ones we know we can’t hold onto forever” (MysticSons.com).

He has appeared as a soloist with the National Philharmonic Orchestra (Strathmore) and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and can be seen in PBS specials with The American Pops Orchestra, including One Voice, Wicked In Concert, Ella’s Swinging Christmas, and We Are Family. Kevin also performed with Jeremy Jordan and Laura Osnes in the pre-Broadway production of Bonnie and Clyde, toured internationally with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in his headliner show Feelin’ Good, and has performed at venues including The Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, The Warner Theatre, Lincoln Center, Blues Alley, Jammin’ Java, Mr. Henry’s, Strathmore, Carnegie Hall, The Town Hall, the 92nd Street Y, and Merkin Concert Hall. His cabaret series If Not Now When? was featured at New York’s historic Metropolitan Room.

Kevin is also a dedicated teacher. He serves on the voice faculty at Shenandoah Conservatory and Howard University, where he specializes in Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) pedagogy. He earned his Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy (CCM emphasis) from Shenandoah in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from the University of Miami.
