The “Veterans of Jazz,” Howard Paul (Army), Shawn Purcell (Navy) and Wayne Wilkinson (Air Force), is a distinguished group of musicians who have served their country while pursuing the art of jazz guitar. Renowned for their exceptional skill and contribution to the jazz community, each member in this ensemble is also a Benedetto Guitars performing artist. Their service backgrounds add a unique depth to the music, displaying a blend of virtuosity, creativity, and a rich tradition of musical excellence. They continue to inspire audiences with performances including Miner Family Wines (Napa Valley, CA), “Quentin E. Baxter Presents…” Series (Kiawah Island, SC) and the Rocky Mountain Archtop Guitar Festival (Arvada, CO). The “Veterans of Jazz” will be joined by the world-class rhythm section; bassist Jeff Reed and drummer Lenny Robinson.
