An exploration of Joni Mitchell as a painter of motion pictures through song, focused on her storytelling while honoring her evolution into a jazz artist. It includes songs familiar and less known, sung by Randie Shane who delivers on the vocals and the story, and supported by some of the best musicians in NYC.
Randie Shane has appeared all over the country (and once in Japan!) in Broadway tours and Regional Theater, with leading and featured roles in Swing! The Musical, Showboat, Bye, Bye Birdie, Music Man, Brigadoon, My Way, and RSVP, Jerome Kern. She has performed multiple one-woman cabaret shows at venues such as New York's The Metropolitan Room, The Duplex, and Don't Tell Mama's, as well as Cleveland's Nighttown, The Bop Stop, and Blu Jazz Akron. This is her first appearance at The Triad.
