Mike Geffner’s Inspired Word, one of New York’s most popular indie performance series, presents SOUNDZ & VIBEZ, a variety show featuring three amazingly creative artists:

Singer/songwriter/musician/music producer Osaze Akerejah aka Butterfly Haus, who mixes eclectic production rooted in indie rock, alternative pop, hip-hop elements, and fragments of 70’s/80’s new wave to create a seamless and dynamic blend that traverses sonics of the past, present and future; singer/songwriter LoLo, who claims Eartha Kitt as her spirit animal and uses her craft, she says, “to reach out into the crevices of the listener’s soul”; and self-reflective spoken word poet Leah V, whose Beat Generation inspired wordplay examines cultural identity, feminism, and family.

Founded/Produced by former journalist Mike Geffner, InspiredWordNYC began in Jan. 2010.
