Nick Sjostrom "1rregardle55"

Celebrating the release of the new album "1rregardle55", Sjostrom invites listeners into his songs through the context of a story. His protagonist nears an ending with no shortage of regret, yet embraces many of life's joys and adventures. In sharing his secrets with the next generation, he reveals anecdotes of lost dogs, motorcycle trips, grandmother's recipes, children's books, chess games, street lights. Yes, there is lost love, but it's something to live through.

Orchestrated by a crack band of Baltimore's finest musicians, Sjostrom's songs are bold and stark. Melody is at the forefront, themes weave throughout, emotion is transparent.

With its outstanding piano and acoustics, An die Musik LIve is the ideal setting for this intimate performance.

The new album "1rregardle55" will be available on limited edition vinyl and digitally for the first time at this very special show.

Nick will be joined by my usual group: Caleb Stine, EJ Shaull-Thompson, Burke Sampson, Ryan Finnerin, Kagey Parrish and Laura Wortman. Plus a special guest, Aaron Henkin!
