Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon & Alicia Walter

Two incredible singers/songwriters/pianists take the stage!

Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon is a rural loving songwriter, whose homespun style is reminiscent of great artists like Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, and Jeff Buckley, had never really sought out the spotlight. Instead, it would seem as though he'd been running from it, living in almost total obscurity, working odd-end jobs like fishing in Alaska, farming, and even working as a janitor at his father's Baptist church. Jeremiah's entry into the music world happened in unexpected and surprising ways, perhaps most surprisingly in 2019, when Harmon garnered national attention as he appeared on American Idol's 17th season. His intense vulnerability captured the hearts of millions of viewers as he shared his story of coming out in a conservative Christian environment. His search for love and belonging would become his defining theme, most notably expressed in the heart-wrenching lyrics of his original song "Almost Heaven": "but when we reach forever, will there be a place where you and I may find Home in heaven?" Jeremiah released his self-produced sophomore record, 'Wake Me Up When it's Over' in 2021. He continues to record and perform around the country. But you'd be lucky to hear any songs from his released catalog at a live show since he prefers to test new material on his unsuspecting listeners.

Known for her “near-cosmic voice” (WIRED) and “stratosphere of songwriting all her own” (Consequence of Sound), Alicia Walter is an NYC-via-Chicago musician whose debut 2021 album, I Am Alicia (Sooper Records), garnered acclaim from American and European audiences alike. Embracing influences spanning from Brill Building pop to jazz and the Great American Songbook, Walter draws comparisons to timeless songwriters like Carole King and Carly Simon, while her developed style of piano and voice is distinctly her own.
