Purple Rain 40th Anniversary All-Star Purple Party is a very special concert and dance party on Prince's birthday celebrating his acclaimed Purple Rain album and film released 40 years ago this summer.

Cymone and his all-star band will perform songs featured in the album and film including "Purple Rain", "Let's Go Crazy", "When Doves Cry" "I Would Die 4 You" "Baby I'm A Star" with special performance of Morris Day & The Time's "Jungle Love" and "The Bird" as well as other popular Prince songs including "Kiss", "1999", "Little Red Corvette" and more!

Cymone was originally born and raised in Canada by his loving parents who were also musicians. Later, his family relocated to the US to chase the American dream as many musicians did. Quite naturally he would become a musician due to his father being a musician for the late, great James Brown. While young Cymone toured and hung around rehearsals and back stage gigs, he was being taught along the way by James Brown's musicians to play multiple instruments, i.e., drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and the trumpet. However, the guitar would later be his love.
