She is remembered for her class and grace served live, daily on Black Entertainment Television (BET). Angela's talents know no bounds. She has recorded two albums: the dynamic nightclub document Angela Stribling...Live (captured at the historic Blue Note in New York City) and her studio recording from Tokyo, Japan (featuring special guest NAJEE on flute), a 9-song standards CD that is a luscious swing from Van Morrison’s “Moon Dance” to Horace Silver’s “Senõr Blues!” Her last recording is a cover of Sylvia Robinson's "Pillow Talk" produced by multi Grammy Award winning bassist Marcus Miller, featuring sultry crooner, Will Downing and Grammy Award winning saxophonist, Gerald Albright. Angela is also in training for her Private Pilot’s license. Angela Stribling is, literally, soaring to higher heights in all aspects of her amazing life. Britt is the 2023 Recipient of the United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters and 2023 Indie Soul Artist of The Year Award Winner for Best Duo for “Butterflies” featuring Will Downing. The first single from his current album “After We Play” featuring Peter White reached #1 on the Media Base and Billboard Charts in 2023. Britt’s current hit single on SiriusXM and nationwide radio is “Ocean Waves”. Britt was hired by Otis Williams as the youngest ever musical director of the Motown Super Group The Temptations which led Britt to become the co music producer of the Emmy Award Winning TV miniseries The Temptations. Britt signed to Motown Records with his own critically acclaimed group Impromp2 … Britt quotes our first interview was with Angela Stribling on BET in the 90’s. Britt has written 3 number One Billboard Contemporary Jazz hit singles for Boney James as well as countless others. He was the on camera trumpet soloist in the Oscar Nominated La La Land starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosslin. He was also the trumpet soloist for the Oscar Nominated Hidden Figures. Britt is an honorary member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
