All concerts are held on Sundays at 5 p.m.

Janelle Gill is an acclaimed Washington, DC based jazz pianist, composer, educator, and musical director whose artistry has enriched the region’s cultural landscape for more than three decades. Known for her fluid touch, ethereal post-bop harmonic language, lyrical improvisation, and quietly commanding stage presence, she creates deeply expressive musical experiences that blend tradition with innovation. A graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Howard University, Gill has performed and recorded with artists including David Murray, Oliver Lake, Maurice Hines, The Diva Jazz Orchestra, Delfeayo Marsalis, and The Blackbyrds. She is a member of the DC Jazz Collective, JazzDC Allstars, and Jazz Leadership Project, and serves on the faculty of the Blues Alley Orchestra Youth Jazz Camp. A 2026 DC Jazz Festival Artist-in-Residence, Gill continues to inspire audiences through performance, composition, theater, education, and community engagement.
