Tony Malaby returns to An die Musik Live! with his modular ensemble, FIREBATH. This ensemble uses a rotating cast of musicians creating a unique musical experience through utilizing several of Malaby’s compositions as basis for improvisation. Past performances at An die Musik Live! featured a trio with Dave Ballou and Mike Kuhl. This edition adds Baltimore based saxophonists Derrick Michaels and John Dierker. New York based bassist Brandon Lopez and drummer Billy Mintz round out this expanded version of FIREBATH.

In-person seats:  $30 / $10 full-time students with valid ID
Attendees receive a link to the recording to view for one week.
Advance ticket sales end 1 hr prior to show. Remaining tickets may be purchased at the door.
