Dave Detwiler, Washington DC trumpet icon and music educator, with a career spanning over 40 years, presents his fan-favorite holiday show “Christmastime in Washington!”

Detwiler's "Christmastime in Washington" holiday concert has entertained thousands of families in the Northern VA, DC and Maryland region for decades. The musicians in this show consist of some of the best players in the area who, as present or former members of DC-based military bands, have provided entertainment for high society and Washington's political elite.

With a new direction and an all-star lineup of Graham Breedlove (trumpet, former leader of the US Army Blues), Darden Purcell (vocals, Director of Jazz Studies at George Mason University) and Shawn Purcell (guitar, former member of Airmen of Note and Navy Commodores), "Christmastime in Washington" is family fun for everyone, featuring a variety of beloved seasonal songs, classic carols and contemporary favorites!
