Louis Scherr, President & Founder

Louis Scherr, president and founder of the company, had a career as a concert performer and entertainer performing at top venues around the US, Europe and Asia for over 25 years. In addition to musical training Louis received formal training in software design, web-based technologies and database design. After building more than 200 websites for musicians, clubs and theaters, Louis had calls from venues that wanted ticketing systems integrated into their websites. After building a few ticketing applications for venues, Louis embarked on a Internet-based software system that would compare with the best in-house ticketing software packages available. When InstantSeats was launched in August 2003, in less than one year Instantseats acquired more than 50 accounts in the Washington DC area. Today, InstantSeats.com provides ticketing software and services to hundreds of venues around the US and Canada.

David Schroeder, Chief Technical Officer

David Schroeder, Chief Technical Officer, comes from a background in Systems Engineering and Database design. As a developer with more than fifteen years of experience, David previously designed software systems for large corporations and federal agencies. As a technical instructor, David taught classes in ColdFusion, project management, and web accessibility.

Don Antal, VP of Sales and Marketing

Don Antal, VP of Sales and Marketing, has over 25 years of Sales and Marketing experience in Information Technology. With a background in database technology and online payment systems, Don has been the bridge between our customer base and our development organization. At Oracle in the 1990’s, Don was part of a development organization that pioneered the thin-client browser-based applications which we now refer to as cloud computing, the model on which InstantSeats is based. The InstantSeats team strives to offer the best software system available with the best service. Using the cloud-computing model, we regularly roll out new features based on our customer feedback. The result is a highly flexible, user-friendly interface from both a patron’s and an administrator’s perspective. We daily receive praise from our customers and clients for our fast and courteous responses, suggestions and solutions. No request is too big or small. Our support team is available seven days a week and all requests are answered the same business day.
