Marcus Young
“Baptized” in music before he was born, Marcus Young knew the sound of music at an early age. He was raised in an environment surrounded by music under the influence of his father, Steven Young, who is a music teacher and an accomplished musician. It’s no surprise that Marcus is a master at playing multiple instruments. Marcus is playing out what he was born to do – deliver pure soulful melodic and inspirational songs infused with Jazz rhythms. “Groove Jazz” as Marcus calls it.
Rodney Kelley Jr.
“RKII” is keyboardist and bassist Rodney Kelley Jr . The young artist style suggest the maturity and presence of a much older musician! At such a young age, Rodney Kelley Jr manages to appeal to the “grown and sexy” audience as well introduce younger audiences to smooth jazz, with his delicious helpings of funk and hip hop undertones! “RKII” is guaranteed to please with something for everyone!
Kevin Howard
National Recording Artist Kevin Howard is a world class keyboardist,writer,composer and producer. Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and now living in Maryland.
Kevin was honored as Jazz artist of the year 2018 by the Pennsylvania House of Representative which he was recognized on the floor in Harrisburg,PA. and received a citation to honor him. In addition Kevin has received several awards which include three “Best Jazz Performer Awards” from renowned local urban radio station WAMO; the WQED Harry Schwab Excellence in the arts award; Best Jazz Performer Champions Association; Pittsburgh City Paper “top three jazz performers”. Kevin, along with his band served as the Pittsburgh?s WJJJ Smooth Jazz Band for more than two years, performing at various events sponsored by the radio station. Kevin recently toured with and was the musical director for jazz saxophone legend Ronnie Laws, also recorded and performed with saxophonist Marion Meadows, Norman Connors, Lonnie Liston Smith, Najee, and George Benson. In addition has shared the stage with Jonathan Butler, Cameo,Roy Ayers, Pieces of a dream, Joe McBride and John Legend.
Craig Alston
Craig Alston is Baltimore born and based multi-instrumentalist and composer specializing in woodwind, brasswind, keyboard and bass guitar in genres such as jazz, rhythm and blues, soul, hip hop and gospel. He is best known for his complex yet soulful sound on the saxophone. Craig has performed with notable musicians such as Lee Ritenour, Earl Klugh, Jonathan Butler, Brian Culbertson, Najee, Norman Brown Frank McComb, Dennis Chambers, Eric Robeson and Larry Willis; legendary groups such as the O'Jays, The Temptations and The Four Tops; as well as Soulful Symphony and the Cab Calloway Orchestra.
