The Olney Big Band
A Night of Classic Swing is for everyone who appreciates classic swing from the big band era of the 1930s and '40s. The Olney Big Band highlights many of the greats of that era including Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Artie Shaw and more, crafting a night of swing that will transport you back in time.
This night is presented by Gottaswing which has been hosting swing dance shows as well as offering swing dance lessons in the Washington, DC area since 1994. Don't know how to swing dance? No worries! Before the band performs, there will be a beginner swing lesson at 7:30pm by Tom and Debra of Gottaswing.
