Andre Killian, is a dynamic and diversely talented saxophonist originally from Buffalo, NY.
Killian started his career in music at the tender age of 3 and began playing drums for the church choir at 5 years old. Falling in love with the joy that music brings to people, this young musical prodigy was destined to share his gift with the world.
At 13, Killian picked up his first saxophone, however, he suffered with severe asthma as an adolescent and was told that playing the saxophone would be impossible. His mother, a visionary, motivated him to push through as she foresaw him playing the saxophone for rivers of people. Killian went on to study music at BAVPA and further was accepted into New School University of New York City where he was blessed to have Reggie Workman (former base player for John Coltrane and Art Blakey) as one of his professors.
Today, though much prayer, persistence and perseverance, Killian has been highly successful in cultivating his amazing talent. Not only as a Saxophonist, but also as a Producer, Singer and Songwriter. He completed his very first album, Sunday Afternoon, in 2005 and is currently producing new projects and collaborating with other recording artists . Killian continues to overcome his obstacles and has been blessed to experience amazing musical opportunities on his journey to fulfill his dream of becoming a Grammy Award Winning Artist.
