N. Glenn Davis is a drummer, recording artist, composer, and educator who currently leads his own jazz quartet and quintet. Glenn’s exciting ensembles feature a unique blend of jazz styles and engaging original compositions and arrangements. Glenn holds a Bachelors of Music degree from The Berklee College of Music and has a Masters of Music Education from The University of Akron. Glenn has performed with many notable musicians such as, Mike Stern, Phil Woods, Benny Golson, Mundell Lowe, Houston Person, Ken Peplowski, Harry Allen, Eric Alexander, Harold Mabern, Mark Soskin and others.
Glenn's debut release as a leader, The N. Glenn Davis Quartet A Different View on the Jazzed Media label features ten of his compositions. Glenn’s second release, The N. Glenn Davis Quintet Come Right In, features legendary alto saxophonist Phil Woods, Mark Soskin piano, Dean Johnson bass, Jack Schantz trumpet and flugelhorn, and Dave Sterner alto and soprano saxes. The CD features eight Davis compositions and two jazz classics arranged for quintet. Glenn’s latest release is titled What Could Be and features Mark Soskin on piano and Peter Dominguez on bass in a classic piano trio setting
Evelyn Wright has been a professional vocalist for over twenty five years with experience in Jazz, R&B and Pop styles of music. Evelyn is a native from Cleveland, Ohio, and was voted Best Female Vocalist in 1985 in conjunction with WCPN radio station. She is also the winner of Most Promising Female Artist and Favorite Female R&B Singer 1993 by Midwest Urban Music Awards. Evelyn has toured throughout the United States and Canada performing in the top hotels, nightclubs, and concert halls.
Evelyn has also recorded with several international recording stars including Phillip Ingram and Gerald Albright.
