Vocalist, song stylist and singer extraordinaire Aubrey Barnes is exploding onto the music scene! This East Carolina University alum, Aubrey Barnes, holds a bachelor’s degree in music and drama along with departmental honors and can be found singing in renown and revered jazz venues in his beloved Harlem, where he hones his musical gift and craft for professional work in and around the tri-state area with his heart steadfastly set on corporate and Broadway opportunities abundantly awaiting here in NYC and beyond. A musical veteran, he has sung to the political elite as well as the societal movers and shakers in our nation’s capital, while touring California with his band and orchestra; has worked on music row in Nashville where he is still called upon… and has sung on the grand and intimate stages in Harlem and the tri-state area; recently was found singing the songs of Smokey Robinson, Lionel Ritchie, Marvin Gaye and other noted superstar Motown artists in a fast-paced musical experience aptly named “Forever Motown,” which played throughout the east coast and tri-state area. Aubrey Barnes is working on his much-anticipated debut cd, a cd comprised of multi-genre offerings with the piano stylings of noted former Johnny Mathis pianist Frank Owens, due out Spring of 2020…Currently, Aubrey Barnes is set to appear on stage at one of Harlem’s newest and hottest restaurant/clubs Gin Fizz!
