One of the strongest emerging voices on the DMV musical scene, internationally recognized recording artist, Michele Bowman, tastefully blends Baltimore’s history of jazz, the cadence and style developed through singing in the church, Classical training, the smooth flow of Afro-Cuban sounds, Neo Soul and of course Jazz. Her musical influences include Billie Holiday, Nancy Wilson, Donnie Hathaway and Barbara Streisand.
Nothing is set in stone musically during performances, as she brings a fusion of genres eclectically together which connects with her audiences. Michele has been performing nationally for years and her creativity and adventurous spirit has afforded her the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Jeffrey Osborne, Marvin Hamlisch, Maysa, Rob Zinn, David Bach, Take 6, Yolanda Adams and others with artistic honors and recognition including the Pentagon and the White House where she performed for the presidential inauguration of Ronald Reagan and for the 82nd U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
