Join us as we rekindle the sacred fire first lit when Poranguí came to DC with us in 2022. In partnership with Metta Creative and Plant Based Pirate, we gather once more for a soul-stirring journey with world-bridging musician, Poranguí, and co-facilitator Ashley Klein. Opening Support from Biko Casini ( Of Rising Appalachia )
Together, they’ll guide us through a multi-sensory, multi-dimensional experience of healing and celebration, through sound, movement, and collective presence.
THE EXPERIENCE
Expect a fully immersive evening:
A ritual performance and improvised live set from Porangui accompanied by Ashley’s vocal guidance
Dance, ceremony, and ancestral reverence in community
Opening set with Biko Casini ( Of Rising Appalachia )
Poranguí’s cross-cultural looping performance weaves Indigenous rhythms, sacred chants, and live instrumentation into a dance floor ritual that awakens the body and spirit. Ashley Klein holds space as both guide and mirror, inviting us to remember our connection to Earth, to each other, and to the sacred.
This is more than a concert, it’s a rite of celebration and inspiration.
