Hill Center is proud to introduce a new concert series, Street Scenes - a series focusing on new music composed by emerging DC jazz artists, curated by Burnett Thompson.
Imani-Grace Cooper is a recent graduate of the Howard University jazz program where she was a student of Connaitre Miller. She appears regularly with DC stalwarts Allyn Johnson, Fred Foss, and others Imani-Grace. Her current project is a collaboration with the JOGO band, a descendant of Chuck Brown, and one of the most popular outgrowths of the DC Gogo scene.
Doors open at 7pm. Join us for a post-concert wine reception with the artist.
