Electro Magnifique performs original compositions and arrangements from the worlds of Jazz, R&B, Blues and Pop. These professional musicians have performed with some of the best artists. Electro Magnifique is led by Chuck Ferrell & Dave Marsh who really enjoy performing together as well as backing up nationally & internationally known artists.
Chuck Ferrell, often referred to as, “the quiet drummer," began his professional career at the age of 14 and has performed with jazz, rock and country artists all over the world. He garners production credits for a number of CD’s including: “The Potomac Jazz Project, “Bob, Ballads and Blues," co-producer, Stan Hamrick; “Tuesday Blues," a blues compilation disc, “7 Improvisations," Shaman Flame Records with producer/engineer Johannes Welsch, “Evolution," “Breaking Barriers," with guitarist/producer Damon Foreman.
Dave Marsh is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC and has taught acoustic bass, electric bass and electric guitar at several universities. He is equally at home in Jazz, R&B, Blues, Latin, Caribbean, Brazilian, Classical, Funk, Reggae, Gospel and Persian as well as rock and pop styles of music. David was a member of the rhythm section at the Arena Stage for; “5 Guys Named Mo”, “Born for this” and “Dear Evan Hansen”.
The rest of the Electro Magnifique band members are Davey Yarborough on sax, John Lee on guitar, Felipe Ricardo Paccagnella on keyboards, vocalists; Ester Williams, Dawn Elliott Robinson, Rico Amero with special guest Iva Ambush
This performance date will also debut Dave Marsh’s new CD First Born.
