Sibling Rivalries…Oregon and Washington vs Burgundy and Bordeaux
For the first time, I will devote a class to exploring the attributes and uniqueness of the wines from the great Burgundy and Bordeaux regions and compare them with the two New World regions that share similar terroir and the same grape varietals., Willamette Valley in Oregon and Wall Walla Valley in Washington. The varietals features will be Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In this limited seating event, we will taste 8 wines; 2 wines from the 4 featured varietals of these 4 world class regions.
