Funkateers Ball celebrates its 10th anniversary with a grand performance featuring the legendary Michael "Kidd Funkadelic" Hampton along with 3GP's Young Poppi (Prince of Funk), funk DNA diva Shirley Clinton and a funk "super-group" including members of Tony CaMM's All-Stars of Funk, The Clones of Funk and Nappy Head Funk Army all paying tribute to the 50th anniversary of the classic albums "The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein" by Parliament and "Stretchin' Out" by Bootsy's Rubber Band as well as "Hardcore Jollies" and "Tales of Kidd Funkadelic" by Funkadelic!
Funkateers Ball is the biggest and best annual reunion of Funkateers hosted by the Chocolate City Alliance celebrating the music, style and culture of P-Funk. Enjoy an evening of great live music and share the experience with Funkateers from the DC area, all across the nation and around the world.
