Thomas Schinabeck is a saxophonist and composer from Cleveland, Ohio. Through his music, he seeks to create spaces of rest and peace, inviting listeners to appreciate the brilliance of life. His artistic influences draw from the natural world—the sky, trees, and bodies of water—as well as from the beauty and heartbreak inherent to our human experience. His quartet is comprised of close friends who have been making music together for over five years, a shared history that informs their deep sense of trust and musical connection. He has performed around the country and alongside Sean Jones, Warren Wolf, Joel Ross, and Terence Blanchard, among others, and is a recent graduate of the Peabody Conservatory.
