Christine Tobin

“Christine Tobin is inspiring on her own material. But she is in a class of her own singing Leonard Cohen. Her new version of “Everybody Knows” is stunning… Gorgeous, affecting and deeply human.” - The Guardian (4 Stars)

“A lesser singer might be overshadowed by the darkness of Cohen’s words. But Tobin invests these songs with their full meaning.” The Irish Times ****

Gorgeous, affecting and deeply human"  The Guardian ****

Her feeling for Leonard Cohen’s songs made a fine recording, but the live set is truly gripping. These are interpretations that shimmer with beauty and insight”  Jazzwise from a review of concert at Brecon Jazz Festival

'The Voice is a killer". Froots

Irish born, multi-award winning vocalist & composer Christine Tobin is now based in New York, having been an integral part of the London scene for many years.  Her unique, rich sound was described by the Guardian as 'Tobin's 24 carat voice'. Her expressive range acknowledges finely acquired folk, jazz and 20th century classical influences.  She can be junkyard blues philosopher, or snappy beat seductress, a conduit for exquisite zen-like harmonies, or reflective Americana.

Phil Robson is a multi award winning guitarist & composer, originally from the UK who relocated to the NYC area in 2015.
