Jozef is best known as a jazz violinist, recording artist and educator. Started playing violin at age 5. As a teenager Jozef had the desire to explore the contemporary world and left the classical roots behind him. His talent was recognized soon and Jozef was offered a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music. While studying at Berklee, Jozef has developed his unique sound and style, was called "Jimi Hendrix on the violin" by several magazines and newspapers. In his career Jozef had an incredible opportunity to perform and further hone his skills with some of the worlds best musicians - Billy Cobham, Nigel Kennedy, Didier Lockwood, Steven Tyler, James Montgomery, Livingston Taylor are just the few Jozef has shared the stage with. Jozef toured in Europe in the summer of 2014 and 2015, and will appear at several festivals in 2017.
He resides in Boston, where he actively teaches and gives clinics where he talks and demonstrates the world of electric and jazz violin, related amplification and effects use. In September 2016, Jozef released his second CD "Dark, Green Yet Blue" under Arabesque Records, Inc.
