Hope Udobi

Hope Udobi has performed in artists from a variety of musical genres, ranging from Jazz, R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop and Gospel, working with artists like Raheem DeVaughn, Phil Adé,Common, Kindred and the Family Soul, Fred Yonnet, Chuck Brown, Stevie Wonder,Talib Kweli, Arrested Development and Lalah Hathaway to name a few.

Hope Udobi is a world class artist who has performed and travelled all over the world. He began playing the piano at the age of 9 which he was introduced to in church. In the year 2000, he began attending Bladensburg High School then later transferring to Largo High School where he was introduced to the music of Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington, Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk.

In the summer of 2016 he was selected by the Jazz at the Lincoln Center as an Artist in Residence, to perform an 8 week residency in Doha, Qatar. 

He also featured on the up-and coming hip-hop duo Dope Classmates' self entitled debut album (2017). Hope is currently working on his debut album which will be released in 2017.
